Agent trail

The record of every call an agent made to Origami, and what each one changed.

Where Rail › Trail Agents use it 1 min read

How it works

  1. Press Trail at the foot of the workspace rail, or choose Trail in the command palette.
  2. The trail opens on Changes: what agents created or changed, such as a tab opened, an artifact saved, a card moved or a review comment posted, newest first and grouped by workspace.
  3. Switch to All calls to see everything agents asked for, including what they only read and the calls that Failed. One call made again and again on the same thing is one row with a count. Press the count to unfold it.
  4. On a row, Details shows the call's input and output, and Go to opens what it is about, while it still exists.

Good to know

  • The workspace menu beside the switch narrows the trail to one workspace. Calls that named no workspace are grouped under No workspace.
  • Each workspace keeps its newest 250 rows, so a busy one never pushes another's out.
  • Clear all empties the trail.
  • A toast is only for what an agent made for you. Everything else it does is here and nowhere else.
