Selection

Pick several rows of the sidebar at once and start, stop or remove them together.

1 min read

How it works

  1. ⌘-click a tab's row to pick it, and ⌘-click it again to let it go.
  2. ⇧-click a row to pick every row from the last one you picked, or from the tab that is showing, down to it.
  3. While rows are picked, the foot of the sidebar says how many are selected, with buttons to start those not running, stop those that are, remove them all, or clear the selection. Only what applies is there.
  4. Right-click one of the picked rows for a menu that acts on all of them.

Good to know

  • Esc, a plain click on a row, another workspace or another view lets the selection go.
  • Removing several rows asks once for all of them.
  • Loops are picked the same way, among themselves: the foot copies their references, closes them or removes them.
  • The same works in the artifacts list, where ⌘A picks every row and the foot can also group them. See Artifacts.
  • A right-click on a row that is not picked is that row's own menu, and lets the selection go.
