Export and import
Your workspaces, boards, artifacts and settings saved to one file, to bring back later or onto another computer.
Where Settings › Storage › Transfer

How it works
- In Settings › Storage, under Transfer, press Export. The kinds are on the left, Workspaces, Boards, Artifacts, Custom agents and Settings, and their rows on the right. Untick what to leave out, press Export, and choose where the file goes.
- To bring it back, press Import and choose the file. Origami checks it before anything is added, and refuses one that is not an Origami export.
- Pick what to bring in, kind by kind. A workspace whose folder you already have in Origami is added as a copy, replaces yours or is merged into it, as you choose, with merge as the default.
- Press Import. The foot says what will come in.
Good to know
- A workspace goes with its tabs and the custom agents they run. Its board and its artifacts, at their latest version, go with it when ticked. Settings are left unticked, and importing them replaces yours.
- A board or an artifact already in your workspace is left as it is, so importing the same file again adds only what was missed.
- A workspace whose folder is not on this computer can be pointed at another with Choose folder. Every tab arrives stopped.
- The scratchpad is not exported: it stays on this computer.
- An import stops at your workspace limit.
