Origami keeps itself up to date, and shows what changed once it has.
Where Origami › Check for Updates
1 min read
How it works
- Origami looks for a new release when it opens and every minute after. When there is one, a cloud button appears in the titlebar: Update available!
- Press it, and Origami asks whether to update to the new version. Update downloads and installs it, then restarts Origami; Later leaves it for now.
- To look yourself, choose Check for Updates from the Origami menu, or Check for updates in the actions palette (⌘⇧P). With nothing new, it says you are on the latest version.
- The first time Origami opens on a new version, it shows that version's changelog. Open it again from Origami › Changelog, where every version is listed beside it.
Good to know
- After the restart your workspaces are as you left them, with their tabs stopped, as after any quit.
- Your agents are updated apart from Origami: see Agent updates.
- Origami from Setapp is updated by Setapp, and has no Check for Updates.
