How it works
- Open an artifact and press Annotate at the left of the head. It reads Stop annotating while it is on.
- Click anywhere on the artifact to drop a numbered pin, type your comment and press Enter. Shift+Enter starts a new line, and Esc cancels.
- Press a pin to read its thread, add a Reply, or take it away with Remove annotation. An agent replies there too, which is how it asks about a pin it finds unclear.
- Press the arrow beside Annotate to hand the review over. Handoff to loop puts a prompt in a loop's message box and Handoff to agent pastes it into a running agent of the workspace, unsent either way, and Copy prompt for agents copies it. The prompt asks the agent to read your annotations, ask about any that are unclear, and publish a new version.
Good to know
- Pins belong to the version they were made on, so a new version starts with none.
- A row in the list shows how many annotations its latest version has.
- Handoff needs the agent connected to the MCP server, and agents are told to check your annotations before writing a new version even without one.
- While annotating, a click places a pin and follows no link.
