How it works
- Press the Commands section's name and choose Add command. Give it a Name, the Command to run, and a Working directory if it is not the workspace's folder.
- The command is added stopped. Press ⌘⏎ to start the tab on the stage, ⌘⇧⏎ to stop it, or use Start and Stop at the end of its row.
- Turn on Auto-start on launch and it starts whenever Origami opens.
- Start all auto-startable in the section's menu starts every command set to auto-start, and Stop all auto-startable stops them.
Good to know
- When a command ends, what it printed stays on screen, so an error is still there to read. Its dock has Start again and Hide output.
- Commands run with the workspace's environment variables.
- Put a server's command in Sidetrack to keep its log in view while you work in another tab.
- Agents can create and run commands and read their output through the MCP server.
