Fork

A new loop that starts from everything said in another, then goes its own way.

How it works

  1. Right-click a loop under Loops and choose Fork, or type /fork in its message box. Words after /fork are the new loop's first message.
  2. The fork is named after the loop, with "(fork)" after it, and its page marks where it parted with Forked from and the loop's name.
  3. It runs on the same agent and settings, with the agent's memory of the work, and its files can still be put back with Rewind.
  4. From there, each loop goes on alone: what you say in one never reaches the other.

Good to know

  • A loop is forked once its agent is at rest. /fork typed while a turn runs waits for it to end.
  • A loop with nothing said in it cannot be forked, and says so. What you typed stays in the box.
