How it works
- Go to tryorigami.app/download and press Download free. Origami needs macOS 14 or later.
- On Linux, press Choose your build and pick an AppImage or a .deb, for x86_64 or ARM64. Linux builds are experimental.
- Open Origami. It starts on its home page, with New workspace in the sidebar.
- Press Choose a folder and pick a project. That folder becomes your first workspace.
Good to know
- Origami looks for a new version when it opens and every minute after. When one is out, a cloud button shows in the titlebar: Update available!. Press it and choose Update, and Origami installs it and restarts. See Updates.
- Browser tabs are not available on Linux.
- The free version has every feature, for up to 5 workspaces with 10 tabs each. Origami+ lifts the limits.
